The concept of the Toyota Motor Corporation Head Office was, firstly, to arrange abundant greenery around the building and give it a softly curved exterior, as the "new face of Toyota" providing a warm welcome to visitors from Japan and abroad. Secondly, to equip it with all the disaster prevention, security and crisis management functions befitting the Head Office of a company. Thirdly, to trigger a process for raising work efficiency and productivity in working spaces. And fourthly, to achieve environmental performance at the world’s highest level, befitting the Head Office of a company engaged in pioneering initiatives for environmental consideration.
